One of my favorite movies as a young man was Lawrence of Arabia. Based on a true story, The film follows the adventures of T. E. Lawrence in the Ottoman Empire during World War 1. At one point, Lawrence puts out a burning match by pinching it. His friend William tries it and it burns his fingers.
